Virginia is Second State with Hard Rock Sportsbook Platform

The world-renowned brand and franchise, Hard Rock, has announced via its Hard Rock Digital subdivision that it has launched its Hard Rock Sportsbook app in the US state of Virginia, with its retail sportsbook scheduled to open in July 2022 at the temporary Hard Rock Bristol casino. The property received Virginia’s first casino license back in April 2022.

Virginia follows in the footsteps of Arizona, which received Hard Rock’s sportsbook in February 2022, making it the second state boasting the brand new Hard Rock sportsbook platform. The application features various sports offerings which you can bet on live, as well as same-game parlays, new reward features, and additional deposit methods.

Hard Rock’s presence in the Old Dominion state is only set to expand further, with Hard Rock Sportsbook set to soon have a physical presence thanks to a new retail sportsbook at its Bristol casino, which is scheduled to open on July 8th, 2022, and is expected to create over 600 new jobs in the area. The final full Hard Rock casino, hotel and resort are now expected to open during the summer of 2024.

Hard Rock Sportsbook Launched in Arizona in February 2022

As previously mentioned, Hard Rock Digital secured market access in Arizona back in February 2022 thanks to an exclusive partnership with the Navajo Nation Gaming Enterprise (NNGE). This deal allowed it to finally launch its long-awaited Hard Rock Sportsbook mobile app in the state’s regulated sports betting market.

For those unaware, the Navajo Nation Gaming Enterprise (NNGE) is a division of the Navajo Nation – the largest federally recognized Native American Nation in the United States. It runs five gaming and hospitality facilities across both Arizona and New Mexico.

Brain Parrish, who was the interim chief executive of the Navajo Nation Gaming Enterprise (NNGE) at the time of the announcement, evoked potential unique marketing offerings which Arizona sports bettors will be able to enjoy as a result of the partnership:

“Mobile sports and event wagering is an important new offering that we’re excited to introduce. The Hard Rock Sportsbook mobile sports wagering platform and our brick-and-mortar operations will offer a broad range of wagers, marketing promotions and cross-marketing offers that will be unique to the Navajo and Hard Rock brands.”

Hard Rock and Seminole Gaming said that they would be supporting these rescue efforts through the establishment of the Support Surfside Program, which was injected with an immediate cash donation of $250,000 to the Support Surfside Fund.

Hard Rock International chairman and Seminole Gaming chief executive Jim Allen said the Hard Rock team wanted to do something meaningful to help the victims of the Surfside building collapse:
